The United States of Good Beer

Wow, Floridians apparently know nothing about the beer they drink.

We asked you: What is the most awesome, best-tasting, sustainably-brewed, independently owned, community-oriented craft beer in your state?

Florida’s respondents chose Landshark - a tasteless, watery product brewed by Anheuser-Busch InBev and primarily brewed in Missouri, not Florida.
Cigar City, people! Come on.
I agree with most of the chart otherwise. It looks like they forgot to fill in Virginia on the left, although the map shows Starr Hill - an excellent choice and a winner of over a dozen GABF medals that was inexplicably ignored on the last map in favor of PBR. It seems like in the small states, the response is a bit skewed, probably because of the small sample. In Vermont, The Shed is a brewpub and certainly doesn’t do much community outreach, whereas Long Trail is very active in Vermont and has had a green initiative in place for years.
