Dear Brouwerij Lane,
You’ve been my favorite. We’ve had so much fun. I love your half pints, your atmosphere, the corner you sit on. I love your wood burning stove, neighborhood puppies, and Star Wars wall paper. I promise you will always have a special place in my heart. But I have to be honest. Perhaps you have noticed some distance lately. I only visit on my way to dine with Pauly Gee. I don’t respond to your emails. But I haven’t been faithful.
I’ve been toying around with Good Beer. I tried. Maybe something will work out one day, but things are just a little…dry. Its more of stop in and get-it to go kind of place. We don’t have much in common yet. Maybe when the back opens up, things will be different. I flirted with Eastern District, but there was some hard to get - and just too much distance.
Now I want to tell you think I may have found someone new. Who knows, it may not work out. But it’s worth a shot. Especially when I know that you will always take me back.
So long for now,
Blager
